Behold! My 26th video where I go through almost every Overwatch character in all of this game's spoken languages!

For this video, I focus on a young prodigy and the youngest of her father's children to take up his skill as a mechanic and engineer. However, while her father focused on crafting weaponry, she, herself, mainly focused on defensive systems and armor. She eventually idealized her father's best friend, Reinhardt, and Reinhardt took her in as a godfather and her squire, with the girl keeping Reinhardt's Crusader armor in check, as well as the big man, himself.

But this girl decided to go further and become a warrior, herself. Combining the technologies of her father and her own, the girl crafted her own suit of armor, as well as a rocket flail, so that she could truly fit the mold of a squire to her great knight and biggest idol.

Rally the troops! For it is time to introduce, the daughter of Torbjorn, and the game’s first Support/Tank hybrid: Brigette (Bree-Get-Uh) Lindholm!

As usual, I planned this for Brigette as soon as she was revealed, which was around the time the 2018 Chinese New Year of the Dog event was meeting its end.

Like almost every other female in the game (as well as the Shimada Brothers), Brigette tends to speak her lines in Swedish, something her father notably lacks. Some of the non-English languages also indulge in this.

Sadly, I'm hearing the same English voice get used as a stand-in for some cases where she speaks these lines in Swedish, but not with the voice actress matched to the spoken language I have the game set to at the moment.

So, for example, her standard English voice always says "Working As Intended" in Swedish. You'll hear that exact same voice in other languages, but only a few actually do say this line themselves, maybe in their own language, instead.

Also sadly, no. Swedish as a whole is not a selectable language in this game, so you can’t hear everyone speak it, including, again, her own dad, Torbjorn.
