Overwatch Lore - what's in store? With Michael Chu announcing he's left Blizzard, what's going to be happening for Overwatch Story and the lore this year, and leading up to whenever Overwatch 2 announces?
In this video, I share the news, and explore what Michael Chu's departure may mean for Overwatch Lore and Story. I also take an in-depth look at where Overwatch Lore is right now, compared to where we've come from and how it's evolved over the last 4 years with Chu at the helm - I feel it's important that we know where we've come from! I share a few different opinions/takes than you may have heard before - I feel that if you step back, you can see a much wider pattern/strategy as to how the Overwatch team have decided to manage lore and storytelling over the last 4 years - and whether you agree with it all, none of it, or perhaps some of it, the proof of the pudding will be in seeing what comes up over the next year, and leading into Overwatch 2!
