Overwatch | Teamwork in 3v3 Elimination Mode | Yoshyaes
2If you haven't tried it yet, you need to get two friends and hop into Overwatch's elimination mode. It rotates through the arcade queue pretty frequently and is a great way to destress from comp. In this gameplay, we tested out some solid combinations of heroes and came out with a few dubs in a row!
Here's a description of the 3v3 elimination mode:
In Elimination, both teams are limited to have only three players each. There is no objective in Elimination; the goal is to kill all three enemy players. Players will not respawn in Elimination, and their bodies will not disappear (meaning that they can be Resurrected any time).
Each round will continue until one team has no members remaining. The other team will be the winner of that round and receive a point, and both teams will be prompted to select a hero again. This will repeat until one team has three points, winning the game.
After 2 minutes without any team winning the round, an area will be marked. After another 30 seconds, the area will become a capture point that a team needs to capture to win the match.
The maps available in Elimination are Ayutthaya, Black Forest, Castillo, Ecopoint: Antarctica, and Necropolis. In the Game Browser, the Elimination map list also includes the redesigned Control sub-maps.
