P5 Virtual Reality Data Glove Unboxing, Review & Testing
Plug n Play. It's old tech (from 2004 or so), but still nice toy to have, has lot of controls and can be re-programmed using GlovePIE + scripts. Works great as mouse and very easy to use, maybe even bit easier than mouse itself, but that depends on screen size. it was not designed for 1920x1080 so you have to make quite huge movements with hand to get it across screen, but all that can be changed using GlovePIE
Had some issues on win 7, but it started working out of the blue. no idea what was wrong.
Also small update, my 42'' LCD LED TV interferes with the sensor, it goes crazy and starts twitching as soon as i turn TV on, no idea why, but if you're having same issues, it might be monitor/tv interfering. most likely it is because tv has the infrared sensor on "stand by" mode and keeps sending out "keep alive" signals, best explanation i can give...don't know exactly.
