Thanks to @officialwarhammer I was able to give my patrons a choice of characters from the new Dawnbringers series and I was very surprised to see Fyreslayers winning the vote! I took it as a chance to work out my custom scheme(again, always write down your recipes folks!) that's been in my head and on my to do list since I built my Fyreslayers back in 2020! A lot of the time I tend to stick to box art tutorials but as I often get asked about what the "rules" are-here's a perfect of example of me not liking the traditiinal scheme, making up my own colours and creating my own background story to explain the theme! There are no right or wrong ways to paint your own models, no standards you need to hit, or schemes you have to do, and never let anyone else tell you otherwise!

FAQ:Adding a light spray of Grey Seer over a full coat of black primer adds a small amount of texture to the primer which gives the contrast paint more to grip on to. It also adds light and shadows which helps define the model more.
