In vanilla, Jr. Troopa has 50 hp, 8 attack, and 1 defense, but the mod practically doubles his attack to 15 while retaining his other stats. And then I decided to try fighting him with the Ultra Curse badge active, which doubles his attack to 30, 3.75x his vanilla amount, and also his hp up to 100.

In Dark Star Edition, the Jr. Troopa fight in chapter 7 has a unique attribute where he actually suffers from the same weather effect as you do (which I didn't because of weather shield), which in chapter 7 is an attack penalty every turn. My goal was essentially to maximize defensive output and minimize his massive initial attack (2 defend plus for 2 base defense, along with water block whenever possible to make it 3, 2 damage dodges to make guarding block an extra 3 damage, and Frigid Stomp applies a -2 damage chill out effect for 3 turns, so it totals out to 8 damage blocked on any given turn where everything is active at once) to stall out with healing in order to let his attack continuously decrease until it becomes manageably low enough that I can attack him (which Sushie can periodically do during the fight when not applying Water Block) while being healed by the Super Shroom Cakes.
