After arriving to dry dry desert, mario runs into a mail-delivering parakoopa named parakarry. He asks mario to help him find three missing letters and mario decides to help him out. After finding the three missing letters, he returns them to parakarry. Parakarry joins mario in hoping to find other missing letters throughout the mushroom kingdom. after crossing a gap and a bridge, a bird named buzzar stops mario only that he looks the same on bower's wanted poster. Knowing that it's mario, buzzar decides to rough him up but loses.
