Paper Mario: The Origami King has finally released, and it is unfortunately living up to my concerns. While it has promising features like excellent puzzles and beautiful environments, the game is held back by a terrible ring-based combat system that brings the whole game down. In this video, I lay out what you can expect to find in The Origami King and explain why it doesn't represent what I expect out of a Paper Mario game.
