In this part of my Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door gameplay walkthrough, I'm taking on the Troubles at the Trouble Center! One of these Troubles, named "Help my Daddy," has me visit the Pit of 100 Trials in order to save the father of Pine T. Jr. After resolving this Trouble, Mario is rewarded with the Silver Card, which allows him to play the Paper Game at the Pianta Parlor! And in the Paper Game, various recurring characters can appear, including Koopie Koo and Luigi!

Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door is an upcoming Nintendo Switch remake of the 2004 Nintendo GameCube game of the same name. The game is an RPG as the first Paper Mario, featuring both turn-based battles and puzzle and platforming-focused challenges on the overworld as well as collaborating with a party of friendly characters that subsequently join on the quest, known as partners. On the overworld, Mario now has the ability to fold into various paper forms, allowing him to explore deeper and solve puzzles.
After Princess Peach asks for his help on a treasure hunt, Mario heads to the town of Rogueport. But when he arrives, Peach is nowhere to be seen! Upon learning about the legend of the Crystal Stars, Mario sets out to find these mythical treasures and hopefully track down Peach along the way.
Of course, Mario isn't the only one hoping to find the Crystal Stars – and it’s not just Bowser who’s looking to cause trouble this time either! Can our hero find these ancient artifacts, open the Thousand-Year Door and maybe even save the world?"
