Part 38 of a video walkthrough for Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door for the Gamecube. In this part, Mario goes through the segment that is in between Chapters 5 and 6. He returns to Rogueport, where he gets a few new items, thanks to his new ability to turn into a boat. He also uses Bobbery to get a special item which allows him to upgrade his party members even more.

The Thousand Year Door tells Mario that the next crystal star is in Poshley Heights. He needs to get a ticket for the Excess Express in order to travel there. Mario goes to his ticket provider, Don Pianta. The Don is dying from heartbreak.

Mario goes to Keelhaul Key, where Frankie (the Don's protege) and Francesca (the Don's daughter) are living. After finding their lost wedding ring, the two piantas go back to Rogueport to visit the Don. Cheered by the arrival of the two people he loves the most, the Don makes a full recovery and hands the family business over to them.

The Don also gives Mario his tickets to the Excess Express. Can Mario beat the villains to Poshley Heights?
