Please watch the whole video before telling me I'm wrong. Please don't interpret this as me laying down the law just because I speak quickly - these are my views and pretty much mine alone!

Let me address one thing I think some will pick on: I say that "devs have often said they aren't creating simulators" the blog says "Paradox games, intentionally or not (in the event, I think it is clear from speaking with a couple of their developers, there is quite a lot that is intentional) have something to say about history."
Firstly - both can be true! Secondly, I can't cite the examples of when I have heard my side, some were in person, some I swear are in videos I can't find! I fully realize this is a weakness of my points, dismiss me on that basis if you like.

I think It's really important to remember that PDX devs are a host of people with different views and perspectives - not only on what they are making but also on what a "simulator" even is! So please don't take this as my accusing the blogger (Bret Devereaux) of being misleading or misrepresenting the devs - not what I'm saying! We just have different perspectives on this point.
