508A complete playthrough of Square Electronic Arts' 1998 PlayStation horror RPG, Parasite Eve.
This game is a perfect example of substance over content. It's incredibly short for a JRPG since grinding isn't at all necessary, but every second of it is memorable for all the right reasons.
This playthrough covers all in-game stuff playing from a fresh save, so there is no "second quest" shown, nor is the Chrysler Building (only available after the main game has been finished).
The graphics and sound are amazing, the story is pretty compelling (makes sense considering it's based on a Japanese novel), and the battle system is among the smoothest and most intuitive turn based ones old-guard Square ever came up with.
