Time for some stealth action! First, though, I kind of forgot to say... a lot of things in the previous video. If you're not interested in any of that, the game continues after the 10-minute mark. Yup.
As for all the cutscenes that will be slammed in your face... Watch and be amazed. Conspiracies up the unmentionables, scout's honour!

Enter Margulis and his lady adjutant (not sure when she's introduced, but she'll play a bigger role in Episode 3). I wonder, is that what happened to the Earth after the introduction? All that light and the rain, and then... what? The location of the Earth is not actually known in the time frame of this series, you have to kind of wonder.

Then enter Ziggy. What they say about his background is mostly explained in a mobile phone game called Pied Piper that was only made available in Japan. His past is also explained, if to a far less thorough extent, in Episode 3, and hinted at towards the end of Episode 2.

For those who aren't very familiar (or 'at all familiar') with japanese customs, there are many rules and considerations about how people address each other. And politeness. What might look like MOMO saying 'Good sir, please don't call me that' should perhaps be interpreted as 'Oi, I'm not taking any lip from YOU, rude boy!' And all along she shows Margulis proper manners. While this could easily be construed as just another damsel-in-distress situation - for good reason - it might not be so wrong to describe it as more of a 'princess Leia on the Death Star' situation instead of 'little miss high-heels who can't do jack without manly manliness'.
Meh, whatever, there are many other questionable things in store for this little replicant, the least of all being how Juli treats her...

Do you also think Ziggy's stealth technology was inspired by The Predator, incidentally?

Mizrahi in Israeli society: There is a term - Mizrachi - which is supposed to mean something like 'a Jew married to an Arab'. Without delving into contemporary politics, in the context of the game I expect it to signify 'someone who consorts with the wrong people'. It works for both Juli and Joachim, but mostly Joachim. Keep watching, and Episode 3 will provide the last remaining bits to make sense of that.
