Gases are highly compressible as compared to solids and liquids. The Liquified Petroleum Gas (LPG) cylinder that we get in our home for cooking or the oxygen supplied to hospital in cylinder is compressed gas. Comr cssed Natural Gas (CNG) is used as fuel these clays in veh tos. Due to its high compressibility, large volumes of gas can be compressed into a small cylinder and transported easily.
The smell of cooked food in our home easily reaches to 0 :. nostrils even without entering in kitchen. It happens so because the particles of the air spread from kitchen and reaches us.
Dry ice is compressedignder high pressure, what happen to it when the ptessure is released?
