UPDATE: Patch (1.0.0.1) fixes the framerate/speed issue. I am now able to run the game correctly at over 60fps. See here: https://youtu.be/eRUL35SXDMo

This is one way to fix this. Set FPS to 60 in the Nvidia control panel to limit speed.
