[PATCHED] NFS Payback - Removing/Bypassing Hoods & Other Visual Parts [1080p60]
*NOTE: As of 12/19/2017 this has been patched. Sorry guys, Ghost doesn't like us having nice things.
The bypassing/part removal glitch from NFS '15 has returned in Payback! This time, instead of slowing your connection to the game's server to bypass the customization restrictions, we use a quick and tricky method to remove parts (the hood being the easiest of all since the game defaults to the hood section when you enter the visual customization menu). I always wanted to do my own tutorial video on bypassing in NFS '15 but ultimately never did, so here's one for Payback. I know it goes kinda quick, so below I have more detailed steps as well as other things worth mentioning:
1. Alright so to begin, start by deciding what car you want to bypass, and keeping that car in mind. Go into the warehouse and make sure the car you choose is there (for this tutorial, I'll use a Skyline R32).
2. Once you've picked something back out of the warehouse, and hover over the warehouse icon. This next part is tricky: press enter on the warehouse but as soon as you do, quickly go to the left twice and enter the visual customization menu. You'll have to do it fast enough before the warehouse loads up, it'll likely take a few tries the first time you do it, but you'll know you did it properly when you see the "Hood" text during the black screen transition.
-For those of y'all on PC, it helps to use your keyboard instead of a controller, as the game will register keystrokes much faster than buttons on a controller being pressed.
-As for console players, typically that black screen transition between entering the warehouse and it loading up is longer on consoles anyway, as opposed to on PC.
3. Find and select the car that you chose to bypass in the warehouse, you should then load directly into the visual customization menu. Choose the hood section and apply any hood.
-Note that sometimes when you apply a hood/part that's already been purchased on the car you're bypassing with (before choosing your car from the warehouse), the hood/part my revert back to the stock hood/part for the car you chose to bypass on. This can be remedied by simply choosing a hood/part that hasn't been purchased yet.
-Also note that trying to scroll over to any other section in the visual customization menu after selecting the car you chose will nullify the effect of the bypass, in that you’ll be given the regular parts for that particular car, and will not be able to remove said parts.
-In other words, you’ll need to scroll over to the particular part you want to remove during the black screen transition between entering the warehouse and it loading up. Any time afterwards, won’t work. Yes, this can be very difficult.
-But that's basically how you would use these steps for parts other than the hood. Like on my S2000 and Miata NA featured towards the end of the video, notice how those two had no roofs. You'd use a car with a roof option and scroll over to the roof section very quickly before the warehouse loads up. Again, this can be very difficult. (Here's a video that shows specifically how to remove roofs though: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MSjE6EtvYzs)
4. You can also take advantage of cars with part sets, in order to remove more parts at one time. We follow the same steps; find a car in the warehouse that you want to bypass, hover over the warehouse icon and quickly enter the visual customization menu as soon as you enter the warehouse. Then select the car you chose to bypass, in visual customization, enter the hood section, go over to a part set and apply it.
