201Edit: GGG employee Mark confirmed on Reddit that this WILL NOT work with Onslaught and similar mods that already give both attack and cast speed in equal numbers. However, the core principle will apply - even if Kinetic Bolt isn't the skill to use, quality stacking will be viable on some of these alternate quality gems.

For most skillgems, Enhance is an objectively bad support. (It can only be levelled to 3, then Vaaled to 4)
Emphasis on the 'most'. There are gems it is good on, such as curses. There are some quality effects that are extremely good, such as the newly spoiled alternate quality Kinetic Bolt (pictured in the thumbnail)
This video discusses how you'd go about getting an effective level 7 enhance on a high budget (~50ex chest) or level 6 on a medium budget (~8ex chest), and alternatives like Dialla's Malefaction and Skin of the Loyal. Sorry about the verbal typo on Malefaction, I keep mispronouncing it as 'male-if-ication' because I misread it.
Is it worth it? My gut says yes, and that Raider builds taking the Onslaught line and scaling elemental damage on Kinetic Bolt will gain incredible power from this new alternate quality effect, which might enable the highest attack speeds the game has ever seen - on builds that look to roll cast speed on items.
