Armor with Armor and Energy Shield or at a very least high Energy Shield
Rings with triple resistances, any other stats as extra will help.
Amulet with boost to physical damage and resistances. Any extra % leech for mana and/or life would be good as well.

As you can see my amulet is beyond bad, but I don't have any better ones at the moment.

Gems:
Gloves = Summon Ice Golem + Fortify + Faster Attacks
Left Bino's = Blood Rage + Increased Duration
Helmet = Whirling Blades + Faster Attacks + Fortify + Blood Magic (with Vaal Pact blood magic may cause trouble)
Boots = Reduced Mana + Hatred + Blasphemy + Assasins Mark - could swap Reduced Mana for Enlighten Gem lvl 3
Right Bino's = Cast on Damage Taken + Increased Duration + Immortal Call (Max level all)
Chest = Flicker + Melee Splash + Multistrike + Melee Physical Damage + Melee Damage on Full Life (if you happen to have 6L armor then I suggest trying it with either of the 4 gems: Added Fire Damage, Weapon Elemental Damage, Faster Attacks or Fortify)


Flasks:

All the gear can be obtained cheaply on talisman league due to everyone starting from scratch. I already got myself Atziri's Splendour for 1.5ex. Drop rate is much better as well and so I already have many amazing talismans and amulets.

Also, since a lot of my gem slots are used merely for gem leveling purposes I am planning to test Cast on Damage Taken + Increased Duration + Immortal Call for my right hand bino's to survive reflect enemies (as seen above). This would work way better if I was using daresso's defiance for endurance charges and onslaught, but haven't tested it yet.

I am planning to test this build with an alternative weapon instead of 2nd bino knife, different armor (daresso's defiance), and extra gem setup on 2nd weapon. If it will improve anything about this build I will upload part V.
