It's pretty fun to play, and tentatively hardcore viable. The damage calculation optimizations have made it safer to play without crashing instances frequently, especially if you mash regular Molten Shell.

Unfortunately, it's pretty terrible at Legion encounters. Make sure you also have a character better suited for Legion encounters.
