Some notes and clarifications:
• There *is* technically a secret movelist locked away in the extras menu, filled with 6 EXTREMELY complex combos that can be unlocked by finding them in secret places nestled throughout the campaign. It’s basically just a collectibles menu though, and it doesn’t let you look at anything inside the base moveset, nothing besides these 6 über complex ultra-combos
• Around 4:30, I reference a “Bible thing” in relation to the 9 :18 on Neo’s alarm clock. The Bible passage I pulled up on-screen is this: “Therefore god has mercy on whom he wants to have mercy, and hardens whom he wants to harden.”
Seems to be a passage that can be interpreted as “God (the player) had mercy on Neo today, by making him take the Blue Pill. He won’t have to go through all that shit this time.”
Or maybe Neo just tapped snooze twice
• A lot of comments are pointing out that the opening training levels are based on classic Kung-fu and action movies. That’s freakin’ awesome; I didn’t know that, and I wish I had! Don’t know how I missed Hard Boiled, I love that movie.
... But still though, that training segment is way too damn long. And why start off the first *three hours* of your MATRIX game with nothing but cheeky references to other films?
