Hi Everyone! The goal was a shiny Mew, and to get there, I needed to complete the game. I played four Pokémon Emeralds and became Champion (x4!) at the same time. This is the beginning of my journey.

2:34:35: Consistently the most difficult Battle in the game (it took over an hour to finish all four)

*Please note that I played these games in Japanese because Japan was the only country that received the Old Sea Map Event. Although there are ways to get a "Pokémon Home Transferable" legit English Mew, I thought this would be a tad bit more authentic, and I wanted to experience the journey that it would have been in the past, that is: only in Japanese.
The Mythical Pokémon Mew was my first generation 3 shiny hunt ever, and I cheated for the first time in a Pokémon Game! I used an Epilogue Operator (Highly Recommended!) to transfer the Old Sea Map to these four Japanese Pokémon Emeralds. That is the complete extent of the cheating. The full odds hunt (1/8192) and journey were completely legit, and well worth the time. I genuinely love Pokémon Emerald and would dare the bold to embark on their own mythical adventure.
Please note that I am not a speed runner, I have just played the games extensively. I actually went out of my way to over-level, most of the time :)
