The basics of Perception in the Pathfinder (2nd Edition) RPG from Paizo!

In this video we examine the rules for Perception. We cover how it is calculated, when you roll it versus when your GM rolls it for you, and other basic concepts like the four States of Awareness -- Unnoticed, Undetected, Hidden and Observed.

This video is intended to serve as the foundation for future discussions which will include concepts like Stealth, Initiative and Invisibility.

CORRECTION: During the Summary portion of the video, the visual states that torches produce Bright Light for 30 feet. This is incorrect. Torches only produce Bright Light for 20 feet.
