The Fighter never really had much of an identity in Pathfinder 1E. Its class features were replaced by bonus combat feats, and though this allowed for versatility, it often came off as bland. Also, why didn't the Fighter have PERCEPTION as a Class Skill? WHY?

Pathfinder 2E does an incredible job of improving the Fighter's capabilities. I can easily say that they are the best martial class in terms of combat potential, bar none.
