Patreon: The Inescapable Hell | An Open Letter to the Largest Membership Platform on the Web
1,550After months of constant updates, community events, and other side activities, none of which address the underlying issues of using Patreon, I decided that I should show everyone what it's like trying to use the platform on a daily basis in a way that doesn't rigidly fit within their expected use case.
Patreon, if you are watching, or reading this, I'm going to give it a couple of months, then I'm going to have a serious chat with my Patrons, and my main channel's audience about swapping platforms.
Trying to keep track of things as an international, non USD user of your platform is borderline impossible.
At this stage, I'll just take the hit, accept the losses, and move over to a platform that doesn't take hundreds of pounds a month and provide mediocre services at best.
