Paulo Figueiredo asks the US to apply sanctions to Moraes within 30 days

🌍 International Power | Paulo Figueiredo, one of the 34 people indicted by the PGR (Attorney General's Office) for attempted coup d'état in 2022, asked the government of the President of the United States, Donald Trump (Republican Party), to apply sanctions to the Minister of the STF (Supreme Federal Court) Alexandre de Moraes within 30 days.
In a hearing at the Tom Lantos Human Rights Commission of the US Congress this Tuesday (June 24, 2025), Figueiredo stated that Moraes is a “dictator disguised as a judge” and reiterated that he has been persecuted by the minister since 2019.
