🏢 Government Power | President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) spoke once again this Sunday (6.Jul.2025) at the opening of the 2nd session of the BRICS Summit of Heads of State, in Rio. The topics of the meeting were “strengthening multilateralism, economic and financial matters and artificial intelligence”.
In his speech, Lula said that “tax justice” is fundamental to “consolidating inclusive and sustainable growth strategies, suitable for the 21st century”. The PT member also stated that it is essential to reform the World Trade Organization, as well as to prevent the development of artificial intelligence from becoming “a privilege of a few countries or an instrument of manipulation in the hands of billionaires”
