The Aimchess Rapid 2022 is the eighth event (5/6 Regular) of the 2022 Meltwater Champions Chess Tour by chess24 with a prize fund of $150,000 in total, held from October 14th to 21st online on chess24. It is held as a 16-player Round-robin tournament, followed by an 8-player Knockout tournament.

The tournament features Super-Grandmasters like Magnus Carlsen, Daniel Naroditsky and Anish Giri.

The time control is 15 minutes for the whole game with a 10-second increment from move one.
