Payara Server 5 Installation on Suse Linux Enterprise Server 12
In this video we are going to see how to install and configure Payara Server 5 on Suse Linux Enterprise Server 12.
Hostname with IP Address is mandatory to run Payara Server else server startup may fail on Linux Environments.
Payara Server 5.194 on JDK 11 is no longer in technical preview! This means you can now use Payara Server in Production on JDK 11 confidently.
The Payara Platform is now MicroProfile 3.2 compatible, providing a richer feature set for Health Check, Metrics, and Rest Client. Metrics includes some breaking changes related to the refactoring of counters (see spec for more details).
Starting with this release, Payara Server ships with a built-in monitoring console that allows a visual peek under the hood of the server. It’s fully customisable, features built-in data aggregation, the ability to define visual thresholds, display the console on a TV screen with automatic page rotation, and provides user defined metrics to track application level performance and status metrics.
