Normally, I don't make videos where it's more of a rant about how intense some gameplay changing updates are but, because Overkill officially announced a new heist judging by their teaser in their "Special Message" video. Now it's time to address one of the common issues in this game that makes the hardcore players move to a different game and makes the new incoming players to not play on difficulties higher than Overkill. I am talking about bullet spongy enemies. Ever since October 2016, Overkill launched the Difficulty Rebalance update adding Mayhem and One Down as well changing enemy tactic to make them be more aggressive. When I played One Down for the first time, I was shocked that I had a very hard time taking down a GenSec guard and a Heavy Swat. I was also surprised that Overkill made the HP of the bulldozers so high that they can withstand a shot from a rocket launcher(which makes no sense because explosions are too powerful for a human to handle). Many players(including myself), took to the Steam Community threads to discuss about how awful the Difficulty Rebalance was. At first, I thought some weapons shouldn't be used for the One Down difficulty....I was dead wrong. The main reason why the difficulty rebalance was so bad is that every single enemy in the game has bloated HP and deal a shit ton of damage. Overkill realized later on that this is an issue. However, they only made a small baby fix to the issue by increasing the headshot multiplier by 50% on Mayhem and above(that didnt make much of a difference because I started using my Enforcer Frenzy Anarchist build a few days after the difficulty rebalance and I still get that same struggle....thx Overkill). On top of that, bows and grenade launchers was a given a tremendous buff to their damage output and became the new meta(I will make a rant about that later). Some difficulty rebalance mods like Deathwish Plus and SC's mod were updated to support Overkill's rebalance changes as well changing One Down(Deathwish and Mayhem) to be more like proper difficulty modes instead of A.I. and bloated HP bullshit. A little while ago, I wondered "What If One Down didn't tremendously buff the enemies HP and only suffered 2 critical design flaws that are not hard to fix?" Then I encountered the Pre-Difficulty Rebalance Enemy HP Mod, this mod reverts the enemies' HP to how they where before the Difficulty Rebalance was released as well as changing their headshot multipliers before the difficulty rebalance. The mod did work because I used PocoHUD to show the enemies's health just by aiming the weapon at them(plus my Gunslinger build is viable on the Vanilla version of One Down). This mod should only be used when playing offline because apparently enemy HP is based on the client so, you can cause a lot of unintentional shenanigans with this mod enabled when playing online. If you are wondering what the mod does exactly to the enemies' HP(in terms of numbers) then here are the modded HP stats for the enemies.
- Security Guard 72 HP w/ 2.25 headshot multiplier
- Gensec Armored Transport Guard 144HP w/4.50 headshot multiplier
- Cop 72HP w/ 2.25 headshot multiplier
- Mendoza,Cobra, and Biker goons 96 HP w/3.00 headshot multiplier
- Zeal SWAT, Murkywater Guard, and Zeal Shield 312HP w/ 3.25 headshot multiplier for Zeal SWAT(1.625 for Murkywater and 1.25 for Zeal Shield)

Credits goes to the author of the Pre-Rebalance Enemies' HP Mod for providing the modded HP stats of the One Down enemies.

Zeal Heavy SWAT-1440HP
Taser/Medic- 2700HP
Bulldozer-18000HP

DISCLAIMER: This video was not created to discourage nor intimidate any player that plays on the One Down difficulty. I am only showcasing a mod that fixes one of the severe balance issues that was created back in October 2016. Please share your constructive criticism down in the comment section below. This issue needs to be fixed before Overkill releases any new heists.
