Did PB ever mean "Personal Best" in speedrunning? Did it actually mean something else from the beginning?

This is just a comedic short relating to speedrunning. Someone in the Speedrun.com Discord server mentioned that he recently just figured out what PB means. Another user responded to them saying that it mean me, Patrick Barrett(Discord name is Patrickbarrett1996). And I thought I'd use that as a joke for a short!
