PC Battery Not Showing Time Remaining [Guide]
Windows 11 is slightly different than Windows 10 feature-wise, and a lot of features are either missing or placed in a different location in the new operating system version. One such feature is the detailed battery information, which was previously visible on the taskbar.
On Windows 11, when you take your mouse over the battery icon in the system tray it displays the battery remaining percentage and time so that you can have an estimate of the time for which you will be able to use your system. However, many users have reported that the detailed remaining battery time is not showing on their Windows 11 PC. This issue can occur due to the wrong configuration of the battery settings on the system or Windows not being updated to the latest version.

The earlier versions of Windows provided battery life in real time, showing an approximate estimate of the time the battery on the laptop was going to last.
On any Windows-powered laptop (or tablet), clicking the battery icon in the taskbar menu or simply hovering your mouse on it should display a remaining usage estimate. That is, how long your laptop should last on battery power. If the battery section of your Windows laptop doesn’t display a ‘time remaining’ estimate, there’s a problem somewhere, and we’ll show you two ways to fix it.
However, this information was removed in later versions, based on the reasoning that the indicated battery time remaining on a computer could fluctuate widely, depending on how it was being used.
This tutorial will apply for computers, laptops, desktops, and tablets running the Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems (Home, Professional, Enterprise, Education) from all supported hardware manufactures, like Dell, HP, Acer, Asus, Toshiba, Lenovo, Alienware, Razer, MSI, Huawei , Microsoft Surface, and Samsung.
