PC Longplay [824] Phantasy Star Online: Blue Burst Episode 2 (part 3 of 4)

PSO:BB played on the schthack servers showing the story mode and the single player quests of ep 1, and all the story mode of episode 2 and 4. I played this game previously on the official servers when It was released so its nice to go back and go through it once more. I completed this video over a longish period so I may not remember everything about the video.
This game is copy of the GC version of ep 1 and ep 2 with the added content of ep 4 that came in just for this version. It was a major overhaul from the Dreamcast with its improved graphics, adjusted drops and difficulty levels. The intro to this version however was reduced to using only still images for some reason, this may only be in the PC version to keep the file size down. The schthack version has also improved how the original Blue Burst played. While the main game is pretty much identical, you can now set how rare items are distributed between your party, you have a much needed global bank between all your characters, all story and side quests are unlocked straight away and there is a widescreen option available. This option stretches all the 2d images so i chose not to use it.
This longplay is from using a new character played mostly in normal difficulty mode, except at the very start of ep2 where i tried hard. At first I wanted to take on the harder difficulties to show off the better item drops but there is very little difference between normal and hard mode. it would also have taken me a lot longer to complete and I would have needed to grind levels up on myself or my mag to be able to solo. Sadly the drops aren't really exciting at this level so I end up using mostly the same weapons I got throughout. There was an event going on through Easter that lead me receiving a pretty powerful gun that I could equip however. I also obtain Kireek's soul eater by going back and doing the missions in the correct order. I did not show going back to repeating the missions but I think i show the final one where i receive it.
For episode 1 I first complete the solo quests to the point the next location opens up, more or less. Then I go and complete the main story for that section before going back to the solo quests to unlock the next area and repeat. Because of time I only completed episode 2 and 4s main story missions and plus I don't really remember the other quests in episode 2 and 4 having much story. There is one story mode quest in ep 4 that I got completely lost in so I edited some sections out. I edit out returning to the lobby after each quest. The only times you'll see the lobby are at the start of ep 1 and ep 2. -
