I forgot that you could walk diagonally in this game *facepalm*
The timer on-screen is counting frames so it comes out to 1:07.3

I start by activating a glitch called the "kerrek glitch" which was found by jrsdude. It is activated by hitting enter on the same frame that the kerrek death animation starts. That allows me to move around invisibly while the animation plays. Then when I leave the screen, it cancels my death, removes all collision in the game, but the next text box to show up will kill me. So I walk off the map and make my way to the 2nd to last room where a guy will ask me a multiple choice question. There is a 44% chance that the answer will be "c" so I say that. I die no matter what after that, but if I answered the question correctly, he will give me the trog-sword, which will increase my score, which will auto-save the game. So when I die, I can just load the auto-save and beat the game normally.
