This gameplay review for Pendragon almost didn't happen, but I'm so glad it did. This is a narrative heavy turn based strategy RPG with almost a rogue like twist. The game is relatively short but you're expected to play through the game multiple times to see all the angles of the story. In fact, due to random elements in the game and a heavy emphasis on player choice in travel locations and choosing who lives and dies the story is basically infinitely playable. The gameplay is slightly thin, but is still challenging as it ramps up in subsequent playthroughs (I missed this fact in the video). The game launches on Steam 9/22/20. I'm a big fan and if you enjoy narrative or strategy based games, this one may be for you too.
