Penguin Wars! for the PS4 Classical Style Trophy
3Welcome to the Retro Gamer 365 where we are gaming every day! I am your host for the day, Professor Stu, and the video for today is probably the easiest one in the entire game. This one is so easy to get that, even if you can't beat any of the bosses, including Jeff, this one should be easily attainable. In fact, it is so easy that I completed it on the first match of the game and so I included the first match intro as well!
With that being said, the trophy is really about pummeling the opponent. Now, that should seem pretty self-explanatory seeing as how the entire point of the game is to hit the opponent in the face with bowling balls; but the key point here is "classical." By "classical", the trophy means like the original games. Wait, what's that? "Original games?" Why yes, this game is a remake of an arcade game which came out in 1985 and was ported to the Game Boy in 1991! That game is by far my most favorite game for the Game Boy and I have spent thousands of hours playing it (the cow was the worst opponent, by far)! I actually based my playstyle of trying to lob all of the balls in a row going across the screen as a bowling ball wall off of the cow from the Game Boy game!
Anyways, you could time out in the Game Boy version but it was much easier to just defeat the opponent by getting all of the balls onto their side of the screen. It was difficult to do sometimes, but it had a guaranteed return. In this game, getting a win by the "all-balls attack" is by no means a guaranteed win, but at early stages it sure is! Simply make sure all of the balls end up on the opponent's side while there are no remaining balls on your side. Easy peasy. It is particularly easy to get if you can knock down the opposition using a charged shot.
