In your "my documents" folder under "Penumbra Overture/Episode 1", open settings.cfg and set "SimpleWeaponSwing=" to "true" instead of the default "false". Now, clicking = stabbing attack and holding down the button = slashing attack. Also testing usage of held objects as melee weapons rather than just thrown weapons.

Makes the game easier, sure, but it does so by removing the "Fake difficulty" implemented by wii-like gesture-based combat and locking the camera when attempting to attack.

Filmed on easy with high gamma settings for the sake of getting to combat quickly.
