Polly Parrot is the fourth episode of the first season of "Peppa Pig".
Peppa Pig and George Pig visit Granny Pig and Grandpa Pig and meet their brand new pet, a chatty parrot that copies what others say.
Peppa and George arrive at their grandparent's house with Mummy Pig and Daddy Pig. They head inside to find a surprise waiting for them - Granny Pig and Grandpa Pig's brand new pet parrot called Polly.
They demonstrate how Polly can copy Granny, and when Peppa asks why Polly does that, Mummy explains that it's a thing all parrots do. The adults then head to the kitchen for some tea and call for Peppa and George. Everyone sits down to eat some cake, with Peppa and George in a big hurry to finish so that they can resume playing with Polly. Peppa asks for them to be excused once they finish and they return to the other room after wiping the cake off of their faces.
At the beginning, they are a bit quiet and nervous about approaching Polly. However, they start to laugh as she responds to them, making them warm up to her. Then the two of them pretend to be parrots by waving their arms and copying each other.
Eventually it's time to go. Granny comes in to ask Peppa if they were playing with Polly. She tries to speak to Polly, who imitates the sound of Peppa snorting and saying I'm a noisy parrot. Granny Pig is surprised by this, but Polly keeps repeating herself and everyone starts to find it amusing. Soon everyone falls over and starts to laugh, including Polly.
