Just a heads up, but in order to bypass a glitch involving Shadow leaving your party and thus leaving you stuck with whatever party members you chose to come along, I decided to take on Zozo a second time without Shadow, and completely offscreen. As an added bonus, I even went out of my way to get Gau back.



I Infiltrate Zozo, defeat Daedaluma, and off-screened getting Gau back with seven additional Rages and reset everyone's levels back down to the medium. Oh, and I got my first set of espers, and taught Sabin every possible spell up to that point in time (except for Cura), and even taught Celes and Gau a couple spells on the side.


I then proceed to pass Celes off as an opera floozy (hopefully, no copyright shenanigans there), and on my second try (and after an off-screen level reset), I bypassed all the rats on the scaffolding with the menuing trick. Took me several tries to get it right.


And that was pretty much it. All I did at that point in time was made some purchases, and grinded a bit at the Imperial outpost east of Albrook before heading towards Vector.
