0Rico breaks into the Imperial capital just as we were about to have an audience with Emperor Sigmund. Heh, get it? As in Freud? We eventually find out the reason for the attack. More specifically, the fact that Rico is the Emperor's son. Similar to Hammer, Rico is a demi-human, whose mother ran off with him to live in the slums of Nortune before succumbing to an illness. And unfortunately, that's the full extent of Rico's backstory, and not much else comes from this.
Well, aside from the fact that he's about to be executed, and Nortune still has the Weltall. So now we need to take out two birds with one stone.
