V3 Definitive Edition Released
Hi guys, I've spent a long time tweaking and tinkering and believe in the last month have made a real breakthrough with the issues people had with this gameplay mod, namely the goalkeepers and overly physical AI.
I am now releasing what I feel to be the definitive and final version of this gameplay mod. I can't guarantee changes won't be made in the future however I feel this is the best possible version of what I set out to achieve in the first place. I've learnt a lot in regards to gameplay editing since the very early days of version 1. I feel this gameplay now provides an excellent balance for playing full manual controls/legend difficulty. I would also like to thank @Holland for his amazing Real PES2025 INI, I would advise adding this to game directory and sider along with this mod although it is not compulsory, this can be found here : Download
V3 Changelog
Reduced goalkeeper skill. Goalkeepers will no longer make superhuman saves and the high dives and catches are reduced. They will still come off their line and be aggressive when through on goal but their is now more goalkeeper error resulting in a greater variety of goals.
Shooting physics tweaked making the shots more powerful, also higher error applied so shots are often hit over the bar. More randomness to shooting overall.
Dribbling is more precise with greater control and reduced input latency.
The AI will score a greater variety of goals, plenty of goals from crosses as in real life, as well as long shots.
AI physicality reduced however fouls and penalties are still present. The AI continues to press high up the pitch (depending on team tactics) and it is possible for teams to press you in, forcing you to try and play out from the back (as we now see often in real life).
Gameplay speed slightly faster with more movement from teammates, however even when playing 15 minute matches, few goals are scored. The game is challenging and as such scoring a goal is incredibly rewarding against this AI.
