Live from London, Peter Windsor talks to viewers about all things F1 - past, present and future. In this episode, the subjects include: a novel idea for the future of F1 involving driver "auctions" before every race; F1 racing behind closed doors; why the Australian GP should have been cancelled well in advance of the scheduled weekend; why we don't have prize money in the lower rungs of the ladder to F1; the efficiency (or not) of throttle/brake overlap (when left foot braking); why budget caps are NOT the answer to F1's high-cost problems; and Peter's greatest, personal, F1 moment. Peter also introduces a number of classic videos from the AP Archive. In this show we visit the Bahamas Speed Week (1962), the year when Ferrari 250 GTOs proliferated; the 1978 South African GP, won by Ronnie Peterson; Jochen Rindt's last-lap win in the 1970 Monaco GP; and Jackie Stewart's amazing drive for Team Lotus in the 1964 Rand GP at Kyalami. There's also a look at "Take Risk!", the new book written by Richard Noble, the guiding force behind Britain's Land Speed records.
