Well... Phoenix DID put a parrot on the stand as a witness back in the day as I point out... AND it helped solve the case too, as a BIG bonus heh...
Also, I bet some people are going to comment without reading this but... after doing some digging around the subject... autopsy reports HAVE been given for kills by animals before, and by this I mean orcas (killer whales)
The killing I refer to was actually back in 2010 at the Seaworld that is around an hour to get to from where I live, and if you want to read a bit about it, visit the whale's wikipedia page to learn some things... including the autopsy reports given from it... and the fact that it hasn't been put down or released even though it has been known to kill 3 times before.

With info like this that I've known for quite a few years... this DLC actually makes me feel "just a little" uncomfortable since... I know it's not real but at the same time... saying they are going to put down the orca in this game when that isn't even how it seems to be done IRL... it just seems rather cold in all honesty.
