In this part, Edgeworth comes up with an explanation for how our client's fingerprints were found at the scene of the crime. This contradicts Edgeworth's earlier theory, and Phoenix is quick to rub it in Edgeworth's face.

Phoenix comes up with his own theory: the person wearing the Nickel Samurai costume that night was an impostor, trying to frame our client.

The witness explains more about seeing someone in the Nickel Samurai costume that night. With some prompting from Phoenix, Ms. Oldbag admits that she was looking to see if the victim really WAS dating Adrian Andrews. She then testifies about her secret information concerning this rumor.
