In this part,
the final courtroom trial of the Phoenix Wright trilogy begins. Phoenix talks with Pearl about the situation with Maya. Iris has to be at the trial today, so Franziska von Karma took over the job of undoing the locks to the Sacred Cavern. The good news is that there is only one lock left, so it shouldn't take more than three hours, tops, to get Maya free.
Edgeworth appears, with the bad news that Iris is going to be a witness for the prosecution. Godot wants to get a confession out of Iris.
Trial begins, with the Judge, Godot and Phoenix serving as judge, prosecution and defense, respectively. Godot says that he has gotten Iris to confess, about her role in the murder. Iris says that she helped cover up the murder, by moving the body across the bridge. Iris goes on to say that she saw the murder took place, and the real murderer is Maya Fey.
