Our journey on Delfino Isle continues in Super Mario Sunshine for the Nintendo Switch! Now that we've acquired our water blasting buddy in F.L.U.D.D as well as an incredibly harsh sentence for a crime we did NOT commit, it's time to continue putting our new skills to work. We've got all the Shine Sprites we need in Bianco Hills, Ricco Harbor Gelato Beach, Pinna Park, Sirena Beach and Noki Bay - now it's time to save the quaint cliffside escape, Pianta Village! We've got all of the nozzles in Shadow Mario's possession, so I guess we're done with him... lest we forget the whole Peach being Bowser Jr.'s mother and Bowser's baby mama. I literally just wanted a break in the sun.

Originally on the Nintendo GameCube, Super Mario Sunshine may be, in my humblest of opinions, peak 3D Mario gaming - although, this game definitely has mixed reviews. I personally love how wacky and weird this game can be - fully rendered cutscenes with accompanying voice acting, incredibly bright and well-engineered levels, great movement techniques, and the use of F.L.U.D.D. make this a classic for the GameCube, and with the release of the Mario 3D Anniversary bundle, experiencing this through the lush Nintendo Switch graphics only serves this game further. I do wish Mario, Peach, and the old Toad fella revisited the Piantas on Delfino Island again to collect the Shine Sprites in a direct sequel, but it might be a little late for that. Who knows, maybe one day!

In this video, we're looking to start our collection of shines in Pianta Village to add onto what we already have from Bianco Hills, Ricco Harbor, Gelato Beach, Pinna Park, Sirena Beach ans Noki Bay. We'll be grabbing the Shine Sprites from Noki Bay Episode 1 (Chain Chomplets Unchained), Episode 2 (Il Piantissimo's Crazy Climb), and Episode 3 (The Goopy Inferno) - well, at least attempting to do so. As always, lots of progress to make, and lots of paint to clean. This is NOT gonna be an easy job. Let's see how today's episode goes!

[This is Episode 11 of a multi-part series.]
