✔ Pico Neo World's First 6DoF VR HMD Unbox & Review
203You can run around a football field while wearing a VR HMD and it tracks perfectly! The Pico Neo 6DoF 3K 90hz HMD has incredible inside-out tracking with a nice clear display. Although the controller range is limited I am excited to see what kind of experiences can be created using world-scale VR technology.
**When I say the controllers lose tracking from time to time I simply meant they go off axis and sometimes need to be recalibrated. They never leave screen or stutter, they are always smooth, just sometimes out of orientation.
***Since filming with the HMD I have had a problem with the screen bugging out. Currently, when I turn on the HMD I get a noisy picture that is unusable. Clearly, something went wrong internally that wasn't supposed to and I've already reached out to Pico to see if they can get me a replacement. I really wanted to take the device to GDC and to show others, but unfortunately, this hmd will not be usable for that purpose. I really did enjoy my 48 hours of it working! :p
I'll make an update video once I hear back from the Pico team.
