UPDATE (8/17/2021): Apparently a sizeable portion of (if not the entire?) soundtrack for this game was provided by Pedro Silva, aka Slimegirls, who has also done work for OMORI and Ooblets, to my knowledge. Silva confessed to a history of being an abusive partner around the time of OMORI's release, and I somehow did not hear about this until after finishing my playthrough of Button City. Subliminal Games, the developer, has issued a statement (via Twitter: https://twitter.com/ButtonCity/status/1427737144085209090) regarding their involvement with Silva, and Silva himself expressed a desire to atone for that past when making that confession. I will be standing by my positive feelings about the game as a whole and regarding Slime Girls as a "wait and see" case re: that atonement.
