By using a small game patch, Pikmin 2 can be made to run at 60 FPS in gameplay. Watch in 1080p60 for the best experience! Have the NTSC version of the game and want to try it yourself? Add this patch to the game INI!

Note: Cutscenes are not tuned to this patch, and will desync. Gameplay appears fine in all stages.

Credit goes to ehw2 for the patch! To prevent "console" lag in high stress situations, we recommend using Emulated CPU Clock Override in the advanced tab of the Configure menu. Unlike the Super Mario Sunshine 60 FPS hack, this does not require any modification for audio to work properly. If you're starting a new game, you will have to mash A on a black screen when the opening cutscene gets confused. Things return normal once gameplay begins.
