Hey, everyone, This is my first Pikmin experience. I'm planning to cover "Pikmin 1" to "Pikmin 3 and eventually "Pikmin 4" (???)... After Shigeru Miyamoto confirmed that "Pikmin 4" was “close to completion” during E3 2015... Nintendo has other priorities such as developing a "new" console - the NX hardware as you definitely all know of course. To be continued...

Our first day of "Pikmin 3" is divided into 2 parts.
EXPLORATION DAY-1: Charlie's Crash Site
EXPLORATION DAY-1: Alph's Crash Site

In "Pikmin 3", the characters are the following:
1. Alph- the engineer - cheerful young chap is optimistic and very passionate about his work as the engineer on the S.S. Drake. He has great admiration for Charlie, for some reason. His grandfather designed the S.S Drake which explains why Alph is a mechanical wiz.

2. Britanny- the botanist, an expert on plant life. She’s reliable and strong-willed… though she doesn’t seem very disciplined when it comes to her appetite for Fruit, being the most enthusiastic eater of the crew.

3. Charlie - Captain of the S.S. Drake and the most seasoned member of the crew, Charlie is responsible for all her crew. He also has a thing for Britanny.

RESIDENCE: Planet Koppai

With three characters this time, the player will be able to swap between the captains and utilize their strengths in overcoming obstacles, battling enemies and solving puzzles.

The previous games' protagonist, Olimar, came from the planet Hocotate, which is close to Koppai.

Food hunting is essential in "Pikmin 3".
