Pink Floyd - The Wall (WWRM016 - Live August 8, 1980 - Earls Court, London)
This is the audio version of the concert that was known for its unofficial video release that happened to be only the first part and the first song of the second part of the show.
Originally the source audio here was muffled, so a remaster was made but not perfect. Then, I attempt to restore it with voice cancellation, reverb, speed, volume and bass improvement and it is okay enough, though still it isn't.
This was taken from a 2004 double-disc release. Even its description explain its problem with this recorded material here:
"OK, where do I start with this one. It came to me sounding really muffled and dull, cracks, pops and sounding like it was recorded from the room next door.
To cut a long story short, I done this one so many times so many ways and really did not end up with anything much better than what I was sent. What you have is a last ditch attempt to get something out of this show.
Filters added across sound spectrum at 3dB loudness, added at 13.6db, sound equalised 90% of the pops and clicks removed, most that are left are during the last few tracks on CD2. I spent ages trying to removes these, but they are not digital clicks which are normally easy to remove. These pops are rally hard to clear on a recording this bad without leaving a scar of there own, so I left them as they are.
I hope you enjoy the show.
A WALLweeds production, 2004"
